Buddhist Calligraphy Experience You can enjoy SHAKYO (calligraphy) while overlooking the garden.
It is one of the temple’s most popular cultural experiences.
Children are also welcome, making it enjoyable for families as well.
● Let's practice writing a single Buddhist character.
● Duration: Approximately 40 minutes.
● Fee: 3,000 JPY per person (cash only).
● You can take your finished artwork home with you.
● We will write your name in Japanese characters (Kanji) on your artwork.
●It starts at 4:00 PM daily. As we may be closed on some days, please check with us by e-mail before your visit.
